Explore the complex and fascinating world of psychosis, where the brain can mistake thoughts and feelings for reality. Discover how conditions like Cotard syndrome, alien hand syndrome, and out-of-body experiences can make people question their own existence and sense of self.

Ep 1:

Voices, Visions, and the Living Dead

Journey into minds that conjure voices, visions, and sensations from nothing—then meet those convinced they've already died, as Cotard syndrome erases the very sense of self.

Ep 2:

The Paranoid Architecture of the Broken Mind

Explore how psychosis dissolves reality into dream, birthing grandiose delusions and a chillingly clever defense: turning inner hatred into outside persecution to protect a fragile ego.

Ep 3:

Whose Hand Is This Anyway?

Discover how a simple rubber hand can hijack your brain's sense of ownership, then meet the phantom limbs—and even a phantom face—that haunt those who've lost sensation.

Ep 4:

Silent Pictures, Broken Words

Some minds can't picture an apple, others can't connect simple words into speech—explore aphantasia's invisible imagination and the fractured language of aphasia and apraxia.
